A significant Update On Pending JEE Main 2021, NEET 2021 Entrance Exams

As students await the exam dates for the engineering entrance exam Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2021 and medical entrance exam National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Graduation) (NEET), the education ministry is still to get a final judgment. Though, as per the report by news agency PTI, the education ministry is contemplating held the ominous editions of the engineering entrance exam JEE-Mains in July and August, while the medical entrance exam NEET may be shifted to September.

“The pending editions of JEE-Mains are likely to be conducted either at the end of July or August with a fortnight’s gap between the two tests. NEET is likely to be pushed to September,” a reference said.

The JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination Mains) is being held four times on a yearly basis from this session to give the students flexibility and an opportunity to increase their marks. The first phase in February was attended by the second phase in March.

JEE Advanced that is the entrance exam of IITs, has been postponed. Earlier, the exam was programmed to be conducted on 3rd July 2021, with the revised dates still to be declared.

Only those students who arrive at the top 2.5 lakh ranks of JEE Main are qualified for JEE Advanced. Therefore, IIT admission cannot be done till the completion of JEE Main.

The fate of the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is also yet to be decided by the ministry.
